The Texas Department of Health Services will be hosting an Immunization Clinic, May 18, 2022 at the New Waverly Public Library from 9am-11am. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Parents, Due to a power outage the Intermediate campus will not be able to take phone calls at this time. Everyone is safe and classes are continuing as normal. Tutoring is cancelled today for the Intermediate campus. If there is an emergency and you need someone at the Intermediate campus, please call our Administration office at 936-344-6751.

NWISD will be rescheduling tonight's board meeting to Friday March 25 @ 10 am

NWISD is monitoring weather and will stay in close contact with county officials. We plan for school to operate as normal; however, we will notify you of changes. As always, please make wise decisions for you & your family when dealing with weather and your particular location.

If you have difficulty accessing the information from the website, hard copies of the reports are available at the district or campus office. NWISD has cancelled classes for Friday, Feb 4. Newest weather models suggest we could have potentially dangerous conditions due to icing. We will not have to make this day up. We will return to class on Monday. After school activities are cancelled for today.

NWISD is continuing to monitor weather conditions. We have met with county officials and are part of direct weather briefings. Locally we are not expected to have ice problems. We plan to have school Thursday & Friday but will continue to monitor and notify you of any changes.
