TYPO! the 3 dates for early release are: Friday Oct. 30, Friday, Nov. 20, and Friday, Dec. 18...…we had a date wrong in first update! Our apologies. All 3 days will have a 12:00 dismissal.

No new Covid cases to report. IMPORTANT CHANGE: Friday Oct 30 dismissal 12:00 for all campuses, busses running approximately 12:30. Trustees approved a plan to provide additional time for instructional intercession--(Nov. 2 & Dec. 18 will also have 2 hour early dismissal)

We have no Covid cases to report. Good luck to volleyball who hosts Onalaska tonight (4:30 pm) and football who hosts Hemphill tomorrow at 1:00 pm! Also, we know the ticket system has been difficult for our community; thank you for understanding a situation that none of us like!

weekly update letter--No new positive cases and notes on rescheduled football games (available via social media and on our live feed)

Football update: We have just been informed that tonight's football game at Newton has been postponed/cancelled due to Hurricane Delta. We do not have information regarding rescheduling at this time, but we will inform everyone as soon as we know something.

Weekly update on Covid cases and a few notes for student activities (posted to social media and our live feed)

The network has been restored and Office 365 & Teams are working properly again. Sorry for the inconvenience this caused.

Our bi-weekly update--No new cases to report. A brief note about attendance at UIL activities.

Our bi-weekly update. We know we continue to work through all the challenges and we are very appreciative of all of our families.

2 clarifications on our earlier update-we use only confirmed information at time of posting. Also close contacts, already tested, and younger siblings implied other campuses were impacted- we do have 1 jh and 1 elementary case in our count. We should have made that clear.

Biweekly update on social media and live feed. Only new cases confirmed so far have been those who were close contact, already ill, awaiting tests, etc. As a result New Waverly High School will return Monday September 21, 2020. All other campuses remain open.

We will provide updates bi-weekly via social media and our livefeed. Today we update confirmed cases and remind our community about NWISD providing meals to all students.

NWISD is posting an update to social media and the live feed on our web page. We will be moving all high school learners to remote only for the week of September 14-18. All other campuses will remain open and functioning as normal. We expect HS to return Sept. 21.
