Welcome to New Waverly ISD

On behalf of NWISD I would like to take a moment to thank our community for their amazing support of our students. We have so many people who volunteer time, money, materials, and efforts to provide things for our students. As many of you know, last weekend there was damage done to our baseball field. The response from our community sums up all you need to know about New Waverly. Some have offered reward money, some offered to help fix things (without receiving any public credit or acknowledgement), and all have offered their support and encouragement.

What was clearly meant for evil instead revealed good. Our students get the opportunity to see you support them. They have seen that over the past as many of our facility upgrades, such as the baseball and softball fields, have come directly because of volunteers giving of themselves, their time, and their resources. While it is often most visible in our sporting venues, that is far from the only area where our students have received support. We have had support from our local churches for students and staff. We have had meals provided. We continually have people offer to help in whatever ways they can do so. Equipment, materials, and again just overwhelming support continually come in from around community.

On behalf of New Waverly ISD and all of our students, faculty, staff, and fans—Thank you so much for what you do for our students.

In Bulldog Pride,
Darol Hail NWISD
