New Waverly Independent School District

The Transportation Department of New Waverly Independent School District is pleased to provide service for students of New Waverly ISD. Our services include regular route transportation as well as co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all students when in transit. New Waverly ISD Transportation Department adheres to all State and Federal Transportation laws and statutes.

For Parents/Students - VERY IMPORTANT

NWISD has had a no eating or drinking policy for the last 7 years. This is mostly due to the fact that there are numerous students in the district that have an allergy to insect stings/bites. Sweets (soft drinks, candy, and foods) spilled and left on bus floor will attract bees and other insects that will feed on scraps. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR STUDENTS SNACKS TO EAT ON THE BUSES. STUDENTS FOUND TO BE EATTING OR DRINKING IN DISTRICT VEHICLES WILL RECEIVE A REFERRAL. BOTTLED WATER IS ALLOWED AT ALL TIMES.

For the Drivers -

We have added another form for the drivers under the Driver\Teacher header to help you with getting your Daily Trip Inspection Sheets. Just click on the link and download, then print out all that you may need. This form can be saved to your computer for future useage.

We have added a new form under the Driver\Teacher header for the ease of reporting any problems with district vehicles. This form can be saved to your computer and typed on or printed out to hand write. If you save it to your computer, the form can be emailed as an attachment to transportation. We hope that this makes for easier communication in the future.
